Midnight Crisis Registration

Friday, October 23, 2026 · 7:30 – 11:00 PM · OI 8200 (in person)

Midnight Crisis is a special, fast-paced crisis committee held on the first day of the conference after regular committee sessions have ended, close to midnight. It is completely independent from regular SSICSIM 2026 committees. No background knowledge is needed and delegates of all experience levels can join.

The topic is revealed at the beginning of the session. It changes every year and tends to be more creative and light-hearted than typical Model UN crisis committees. To prepare, come in with an open mind and be ready for chaos.

Registering does not guarantee you a position. Due to highly limited availability, we'll review all applications and email you if you're selected.

Note: Midnight Crisis is only open to registered SSICSIM 2026 delegates. Registration closes Sunday, October 18, 2026 @ 11:59 PM. Questions? Contact our Chargée d'Affaires, Joanna Wang, at registration@ssicsim.ca.
